6 years ago I dared Marlee Fleisher to create a solo on me, 

“I dare you to create a solo in 2 hours where I get to pick the music, the costume, and the title.” 

A little controlling, but what can I say, I know what I like. After a successful first run of this collaboration we decided to keep the title and create five more iterations of the same kind of dare over the course of my time at Adelphi University. 

From props to speeches and dance films - Yak Milk was an opportunity to try something on, expand on the boundaries we had placed on ourselves. "What if" was the question and "Yes" was the answer. 

"Yak Milk!" is coming back for a revival! For the first time ever, this will be a full evening performance of all the Yak Milk solos that have been created since 2018. The work will also feature the premiere of "Yak Mviilk", a new solo created just for the revival. 

Based on a dare and inspired by a dress, "Yak Milk!" will feature nostalgia, fantasies, confessions and some dance. Come ready to laugh and bring something soft to throw.
